Charlie Nunn Photography.

Charlie Nunn and Raymond Janis’s award-winning animal portrait studio grew out of a desire for artistic portraits of their two dogs at the time, Sadie and Simba. Combining their passion for animals and love of photography, they’ve been across the country photographing everything from cats and dogs to kangaroos and pythons. Paramount to their work, is giving back to the Los Angeles dog community that has given so much to them.

Mention the HIT Living Foundation when you book and you will receive a complimentary studio portrait session and a $100 print credit. Charlie Nunn Photography will donate a portion of the proceeds from your beautiful order to our foundation.

Found My Animal.

It all started with Walter - and his doppelgänger.
On a neighborhood walk in Brooklyn in 2006, Bethany Obrecht and her rescue dog - a handsome chihuahua named Walter - crossed paths with Anna Conway and her pooch - (you guessed it - another rescue chihuahua named Walter!).
With so much in common, the two “Walters” and their Moms became fast friends - and together they would change the lives of many more rescue animals. With a penchant for crafts, and inspiration from a fisherman in the family, the two designed and created their first leashes made with marine-grade rope, brass, and waxed canvas.

Found My Animal has always been committed to supporting animal welfare and rescue efforts. In addition to their beautiful artisan products, they are now actively soliciting donations on behalf of HIT Living Foundation, directly through their website. They also feature a dedicated section to help facilitate direct pet adoptions.

Found My Animal … compassionate people, creating meaningful change with handcrafted products—all thanks to Walter!

Dog Tag Art

Dog Tag Art was founded in 2008 by Jack Carrier to solve a problem. The spark for his idea was his old Chocolate Lab that was persistent in one thing: wandering off. One evening Maggie wandered off with outdated tags that resulted in a complicated web of phone calls and worry before she was finally returned. Jack thought, "there has to be a better way for a finder to contact me, WITHOUT it depending on a phone number." "Virtual Leash," the solution to that problem, was launched in 2010. Virtual Leash solves the problem by allowing pet finders to use a pet's unique website to contact MANY people INSTANTLY and simultaneously using voice (robocall), text messages, email, and Twitter. It will show any address you choose on a Google Map. It lets finders see important info about your pet immediately.

Dog Tag Art launched pet id tags in June 2009, while Virtual Leash was in development. Dog Tag Art grew to become a community of pet lovers built around fun, art, beloved pets, and giving back to support animal welfare. It continues to grow and attract more artists and user-submitted "super-models".

Our foster dogs are currently wearing ID tags donated by Dog Tag Art. Visit Dog Tag Art today to create your own custom dog tag for your pet!
